RSS Feeds

What is an RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML-based format for sharing and distributing Web content, such as product and literature updates. In order to access an RSS, you can use an RSS reader. Using an RSS reader, you can view data feeds Steven Engineering or any of their manufacturers publish.

RSS Aggregators:
RSS Aggregators (also called Readers) will download and display RSS feeds for you. A number of free and commercial News Aggregators are available for download such as FeedDemon, RssReader, NewzCrawler, or SharpReader.

Many aggregators are separate, "stand-alone" programs; other services will let you add RSS feeds to a Web page. Yahoo! or Google users can add RSS feeds to your My Yahoo! page or Google Reader. You can also click on the "Add to My Yahoo!" or "Add to Google" button to the right of each link..

Audio & Video Podcasts

What is a Podcast?
Podcasting is a way to receive audio files over the Internet by using feeds to deliver the audio broadcasts directly to your desktop. You can listen to the files on your computer or load them on your MP3 player and take them with you.

Setting up a Podcasting Software
To get started, all you need is podcasting software. Once you download and install the software, you add the podcast feed. The podcasting software will automatically check for updates and download the files to your computer. A number of free and commercial Podcast Aggregators are available for download such as iTunes and iPodder.org. An RSS reader will also display your Podcasts.

Link to Content Pages:
The Aggregators or Syndication Feeds Services may be used only with those platforms from which a functional link is made available that, when accessed, takes the viewer directly to the display of the full information on the stevenengineering.com. You may not display the RSS Content or Podcasts in a manner that does not permit successful linking to, redirection to or delivery of the applicable Steven Engineering site web page. You may not insert any intermediate page, splash page or other content between the RSS or Podcasts link and the applicable Steven Engineering site web page.

Ownership/Attribution:
Steven Engineering retains all ownership and other rights in the RSS and Podcast Content, and any and all Steven Engineering logos and trademarks used in connection with the Syndication Service. You must provide attribution to the appropriate Steven Engineering website in connection with your use of the RSS or Podcast feeds. If you provide this attribution using a graphic, you must use the appropriate Steven Engineering website's logo that we have incorporated into the RSS feed.

Right to Discontinue Feeds:
Steven Engineering reserves the right to discontinue providing any or all of the RSS or Podcast feeds at any time and to require you to cease displaying, distributing or otherwise using any or all of the RSS and Podcast feeds for any reason including, without limitation, your violation of any provision of these Terms of Use. Steven Engineering assumes no liability for any of your activities in connection with the RSS or Podcast feeds or for your use of the RSS and Podcast feeds in connection with your website.
