Steven Engineering invites all users of our website to obtain information
about the availability and pricing on the products we offer. Search
for the parts you need here; the results will take you to our Order
Center, where you will have the option of ordering immediately or
saving the product information for a future order.
Using the Search Fields:
To search, choose one or more of the following three options when
searching for parts. Fill in all three, if possible, for a more
refined search. The "Manufacturer", "Part Number"
and "Description" options are all located on the left
side of this screen. It is not necessary to use all search fields to get results. Note: The search function defaults to an "Or"
search. See "Conduct 'AND' Search" to narrow your search.
Search By Manufacturer:
Select the Manufacturer drop-down box on the left of this screen.
To further refine your search, fill in a part number or description,
as described in the "Search by Part Number" and "Search
by Description" sections.
- Click on the arrow next to the box to display available manufacturers.
- Click on a manufacturer to select it. If you know the part number,
fill in the "Part Number" box as described in the next
section. To narrow your search using the type of part you are
searching for (for example, "sensor" or "relay"),
skip to the "Search by Description" section below. (To
clear all of your selections, click on the "Reset" button.)
- Click on the Search button. The parts offered by your selected
manufacturer that match your criteria will appear. If you left
the "Part Number" or "Description" sections
blank, all items by that manufacturer will be listed in ascending
alphanumeric order.
Search by Part Number:
Use the Part Number field to the left of this screen. Note: When
searching for a Phoenix Contact or Pepperl + Fuchs product
by its alphanumeric model number, use the "Description"
field (instead of the "Part Number" field) and omit spaces.
For example (Phoenix Contact): UK5N. If you know the numeric order
number, then enter it in the part number search field.
- Type in part or all of the part number you desire in the Part
Number field. When searching for a product using the part number
search field, wildcards (i.e. "/", "*", "-")
can be used but are not necessary.
Note: Your search may be more refined if you also select the
manufacturer in the drop-down "Manufacturer" box,
as described in the above section. You may also fill in the
"Description" field as described below. (To clear
all of your selections, click on the "Reset" button.)
- Click on the Search button. If you left both the "Manufacturer"
and "Description" options blank, all parts containing
the sequence of numbers you typed in will appear. If you left
the "Manufactuer" or "Description" sections
blank, all items will be listed in ascending alphanumeric order
by part number. To refine your search, fill in one or more of
the other options if possible.
Search by Description:
Use the "Description" field to the left of this screen
to search for a type of part. You can fill in this section alone
or narrow your search by also using one or more of the options described
above. Note: When searching for a Phoenix Contact or Pepperl
+ Fuchs product by its alphanumeric model number, use the "Description"
field (instead of the "Part Number" field) and omit spaces.
For example (Phoenix Contact): UK5N. If you know the numeric order
number, then enter it in the part number search field.
- Type in the description of the item you desire in the Description
field. For example, type in "sensor" or "fuse".
Use singular words rather than plural. Abbreviations are OK, and
case (capital or lower case letters) is not important. (To clear
your selections, click the "Reset" button.)
- When using multiple word descriptions in the "Description"
box, separate the words by a space. For example, type: "selector
switch".
- Type abbreviated measurements or product characteristics without
spaces. For example, type: "9a" (9 amp), "24VAC"
(24 volts AC), "3p" (3 pole), i/o (input/output).
Note: The "Conduct 'AND' Search" box can be used
with the "Description" option. If you select this
button, your search displays only exact matches to your search
criteria. For example, if you type in "fuse block",
only listings containing "fuse block" will appear.
When it is not checked, the search engine will display all entries
with "fuse" or "block" in its description.
- Click on the Search button. All items that match your description
will appear, including those that match using whole words, partial
words and abbreviations. If you left the "Manufacturer"
or "Part Number" sections blank, all items will be listed
first by relevance to the number of matches you defined in the
search fields, then by part number then by manufacturer in ascending
alphanumeric order. To refine your search, select the manufacturer
as described in the "Search by Manufacturer" section
above.
- When using all three search fields to conduct a search, it will
search first by description, then manufacturer, then part number.
If you require a much broader search, try searching by part number
(partial or all of the part number) and manufacturer only.
The "Conduct 'AND' Search" Box:
This box narrows your search by displaying only exact matches to
your search criteria. To select it, click on the box to display
a checkmark.
The "View In-Stock Items Only" Box:
If you select this box, only parts that are currently in stock
will be displayed.
To select it, click on the box to display a checkmark.

How to Refine Your Search:
- Select more than one search option to narrow your search criteria.
- Check the "View Only In-Stock Items" box. The search
results will display only those items that meet your search criteria
and are currently in stock.
- If using the "Description" option, check the "Conduct
'AND' Search" box. (For more information, see the "Conduct
'AND' Search" section above.)
Hints:
- In the Description field, use the singular form of words. For
example: sensor (not sensors).
- If a match is not found when using the part number search, try
typing the part number without wildcards (i.e. "/",
"*", "-").
- When searching for a Phoenix Contact or Pepperl + Fuchs
product by its alphanumeric model number, use the "Description"
field (instead of the "Part Number" field) and omit
spaces. For example (Phoenix Contact): UK5N. If you know the numeric

Search Function Notes:
- The search function uses an "OR" logic by default.
- The order in which a description search is sorted is by part
number then by manufacturer in alphanumeric ascending order based
on the relevance to the number of matches you defined in the search
fields.
- When conducting a partial or exact part number search, products
are sorted first with part numbers with an exact match, then begins
with, then contains, then ends with what you defined in the search
fields.
